From the very beginning, it was clear that this couple were head over heels for each other. Everyone here at Cosmic Violet Events fell in love with them as a couple from their very first visit to our offices. We were delighted to help them bring their dream wedding to life.

Planning a wedding with such a vibrant and joyful couple is an absolute dream! From the moment we started working together, it was clear that this was going to be a very exciting one!

First things first, we sat down for our initial consultation. The couple were bursting with ideas, they were not afraid to think outside the box. We always want to get to know them inside and out so that we can create a wedding that truly reflects their personalities.

The bride was very organised throughout the whole process giving the groom jobs to do throughout the planning process, even giving him deadlines and marking things with his initials on our shared planning documents! As a result the groom titled himself the prop master after being tasked with supplying the Israeli dancing props! We had many discussions about Pinterest boards and Instagram feeds to make sure to replicate their vision.

As we started to narrow down the details, we trusted an amazing team of suppliers – florists, caterers, musicians, photographers, videographers, and many other professionals that we work with regularly to bring everything to life!

The planning meetings in person and on video calls were anything but dull. The groom's quick wit kept us all on our toes with his hilarious one-liners and observations, reminding us that weddings should be about laughter above all else.

Of course, there are moments of stress and chaos along the way – it wouldn't be wedding planning without them! But this couple took everything in their stride and put full trust in the team at Cosmic Violet Events to make sure everything ran smoothly.

On the morning of the wedding the Cosmic Violet team arrived bright and early to oversee the final preparations. We always make sure to check in with the bride straight away to ensure she's comfortable and relaxed as she gets ready.

Also making sure all suppliers had arrived on time for the extensive set up! We checked the cosmic violet production crew had arrived to start setting up the large structures we created for the ceremony and evening party in the ballroom, along with the florist.

Once all guests have arrived and the ceremony is underway, we make sure to shift our focus to the drinks reception and canapé service to ensure the venue is on schedule! Throughout the planning process and the wedding day itself it is integral to a smooth running that we maintain a close partnership with the venue staff, staying on top of every detail to ensure that the event runs seamlessly.

Let's talk about the venue – The Londoner Hotel. Nestled in the heart of Leicester Square, this place oozes sophistication and style. It was the perfect backdrop for our couple's big day and really suited them. Plus, with its luxurious vibe, it set the stage for an unforgettable celebration.

Now, onto the ceremony. Picture this: a beautiful chuppah ceremony right there in the ballroom of the venue. It was a touching moment as the bride and groom exchanged vows under the canopy, surrounded by their closest family and friends. At this point we have to mention the bride, can we just take a moment to talk about how incredible she looked? I mean, wow! She was an absolute vision in her dress, radiating pure joy and happiness from the moment she walked down the aisle to the last dance of the night.

Of course, we couldn't have pulled off such a stunning event without some incredible suppliers. The floristry was out of this world – elegant arrangements down the aisle and on every table centerpieces transformed the room from a corporate ballroom to a soft setting for a wedding day. Of course The Function Band was the entertainment for the whole event, they provided romantic music during the Chuppah and then later on had everyone on their feet, dancing the night away.

But beyond all the sparkles, what truly made this wedding special was the love that filled the room. This couple were surrounded by such a warm and loving family, and you could feel the happiness radiating. We felt so blessed to have been a part of it.

The most wonderful part of being a wedding planner is the final thank you at the end of the night, as much as I am sad to see the event finish, the couples are always so grateful for the hard work that goes into every detail. I remember vividly speaking with them both at about midnight once their guests had left and they said to me “you did say everything would come together, and it really did! We cannot thank you enough”. A true feeling of fulfillment!
